Packet Pick-up
Date & Time: Friday, November 15, 2008 - 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Location: Virginia Beach United Methodist Church located at 212 19th Street, Virginia Beach – just two blocks from Interstate 264 at the Oceanfront. There is parking at both the church parking lot and the municipal parking lot across Pacific Avenue.
- Take Interstate 264 to the Oceanfront;
- Interstate 264 turns into 21st Street;
- At the intersection of 21st Street and Pacific Avenue – Take a Right;
- Go two blocks to 19th Street;
- The Church is located between 19th and 18th Street on Pacific Ave. There will be parking on both sides of Pacific Avenue.
FROM NORTH (EASTERN SHORE), via the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, take 1st exit bridge tunnel - Route 60 East (Shore Drive). Follow Shore Drive, eastward, approximately 6 miles. At the stop light located Shore Drive and Atlantic Ave, bear right onto Atlantic Avenue. Head South on Atlantic Avenue. At the 42nd Street stoplight, Atlantic Avenue will merge into Pacific Avenue. Continue straight on Pacific Avenue, do not bear left on Atlantic Avenue. Keeping heading South on Pacific Avenue until you arrive at 19th Street.
FROM WASHINGTON, D.C./NORTHERN VIRGINIA, take 95 South to 64 East (near Richmond). Follow 64 East across Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel. Take exit 284A to merge onto I-264 E toward VA Beach. After exiting the Interstate on 21st, take a right onto Pacific Avenue and go two blocks.
FROM CHARLOTTESVILLE, take 64 East past Richmond and follow across the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel. Take exit 284A to merge onto I-264 E toward VA Beach. After exiting the Interstate on 21st, take a right onto Pacific Avenue and go two blocks.
There
will be a carbo-load dinner at the church from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
